The Summerland Citizens Association (SCA) holds the encroachment permit for the Edison lamp posts, supporting a long-standing effort to enhance the Summerland streetscape.

The Summerland Community Foundation (SCF) fully funds the Flower Basket Program, including all permitted baskets, plantings, installation, and ongoing care. Baskets are watered bi-weekly, with hand watering increased to three times per week during warmer months, along with regular maintenance and seasonal flower replacement.

This program brings year-round color and vitality to Summerland, contributing to a welcoming, well-maintained community.
